Joanna Hunek

Joanna has a background in learning and development, training, and talent. Her career has been predominantly in multi-cultural and global organisations, in several countries. In 2008 she moved from B2B event industry over to IT, where she was involved in a range of enablement and development activities, spanning from leadership development and sales enablement to soft skills training and onboarding, amongst others. Driving enablement in the IT sector has put Joanna at the forefront of tackling business transformation including areas such as digitisation, smart, virtual, and finding flexible approaches to development - as well as dealing with change on an ongoing basis.  

It is Joanna’s passion for creating innovative learning journeys and developing empowered cultures which allow people to excel, that led her towards coaching and leadership development. Inspired by the style and feel of Global Warriors work she experienced in her L&D career and equipped with a decade of experience in a global blue-chip company, she moved, in 2016, into the world of coaching. Since then, she has been successfully coaching individuals, managers, leaders and leaders-to-be into becoming authentic and purposeful leaders of the 21st century.  

Joanna is a direct and highly energetic coach and facilitator, with a passion for leadership and personal development, building confidence, courage, and intentional performance. She is currently finalising her advanced team coaching certification. 

Joanna has trained at some of the world’s leading coaching schools and is a Certified Co-Active Coach, trained ORSC practitioner, certified in Firework Career Coaching and Leadership Circle Profile. She is also certified by and a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) to a PCC level. She holds Level 7 Cert in Human Resource Development (with CIPD), a BS degree in Geography, and an MA in International Event Management. 

Joanna is a mum of two, a keen cyclist, runner and loves the outdoors.
