Kate worked as a PE and English teacher for 26 years and spent 10 of those years in a Senior Leadership role. She spent most of her teaching career working in an inner-city school in Bradford and loved the diverse nature of the young people and their families. Her role in teaching gave her ample opportunity to hone her skills in administration and she has a keen eye for detail which will stand her in good stead in her new role! In her leadership roles, she dedicated much of her time nurturing young people to believe in themselves and their true potential, encouraging them to spread their wings to explore the world and reach for a bright future.
Alongside her role at Global Warriors, Kate has recently set up her own business as a women’s Life & Success Coach. In her business she helps ambitious, overwhelmed women (she has been one) to manage their busy lifestyles so that they can live out their purpose in this world to create a balanced life that is happy and fulfilled.
Kate’s passion is her family, and she has two children who have now flown the nest! She lives in Harrogate, North Yorkshire with her husband and labrador, Ted. She loves reading and doing all things creative and really enjoys walking in the fabulous Yorkshire Dales. She tries to keep fit and goes to the gym although sometimes having a glass of red is a much more appealing alternative!
